Great launch of my memoir: Journey After Midnight

Tuesday just gone by we had a very successful launch of my memoir: Journey After Midnight at the UBC Alumni Center. Over 250 people attended the event. The UBC bookstore sold 110 books that evening. And a lot of fun was had by all.

It was wonderful to see everyone there. I want to thank each and everyone that came out. I want to thank the UBC Alumni Association and the Vancouver Asian Heritage Month Association for co sponsoring the launch. And a special thanks to the volunteers who managed the food and beverages tables.

Just before the launch I had learnt that the book had already made it on to the BC Bestseller list. It has been gratifying to know that on Amazon.ca it is #1 in History and Canada and #1 politics and social science categories.

When one sets out to write one is nervous about how the book may be received. Writing and watching my creation go out into the world have been wonderful experiences for me.

The JOURNEY is available in bookstore across Canada.

I hope you pick up a copy of my JOURNEY and travel with me as you read.

Cheers
